This broad base of knowledge allows me to thoroughly understand all types of hotel projects, from the smaller, boutique property to a large-scale multi-use development.”

Peter J. Hayes brings over 20 years of construction, development and administrative skills to Sunago. He currently heads Hayes Development Group, constructing complex high-end custom homes, many including waterfront components and each with original design and specialized exacting finishes. He’s also serving as a consultant in the development of Four Seasons Resort Estates on the Caribbean island of Nevis, to date directing the construction of 38 private villas; developing the associated infrastructure including utilities, drainage and roads; and building an exclusive spa at the Resort. Peter’s previous experience includes his role as Managing Executive for Indian River Holding Company, which included developing 400 lots and a major golf course, and service as County Administrator of Brevard County, Florida.

Peter, a certified contractor, received his B.S. degree and M.S. degree (Urban and Regional Planning) from Florida State University. He also studied Executive Development at Cornell University. He has taken leadership roles in many community activities over the years, including the Home Builders and Contractors Association of Brevard County, Cocoa Beach Area Chamber of Commerce and Cocoa Rotary Club.

• Oversaw the completion of 400 residential lots with a combined value of over $15 million, including a major golf course, its clubhouse, maintenance buildings, bridges and lakes.
  
  
• Managed the development and construction of 38 custom villas at Four Seasons Resort Estates, Nevis.
  
  
• Managed the development and construction of a Spa at the Four Seasons Resort Nevis, directing a local labor force of 100+.
  
  
• Hayes Development Group won a Technology and 1st Place Award in the Parade of Homes upscale category in 1992.
  
  
• Served six times as a Judge for Parades of Homes in the Central and West Florida area.
  
  
• As County Administrator (1982 – 1985), was responsible for a staff of 1,600+ and annual budget exceeding $220 million.
